I had a hp 435 camera and it fell, and broke. The outside of the camera was fine, but it just didn't work. The camera I bought was titled Trainwreck camera. The outside was damaged, but it worked. I put the two cameras together and now have a good camera. I have a much newer hp camera also, but this is great for the kids to use and it was cheap. The only thing I dislike about this camera is that it cracks easily near the battery compartment, and may need to be taped to stay shut. If you can avoid dropping the camera, it shouldn't be a problem.
I have had this camera for about a month now. It is easy to use, easy to set up a picture to take. The quality is good, unless the batteries get low. I can snap about 8 pictures before they look fuzzy. It does use up the batteries quickly, but if you turn it off for a while it will take more pictures. The only thing I don't like about it is, I can not find an AC adapter for this camera. I do use the rechargable batteries, but wish I had the adapter. All in all, this is a good camera, lightweight and easy to use.
Although it does not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive cameras, it is a good fit for those who have need for a small simple to operate system. The view screen is small, but clear as a bell. The one I got for my wife was a great Mother's Day gift and she loves it. You can set up your scene with the veiw finder and not waste battery power by having the screen on. This is a good idea for other cameras as well.
This camera is just what it claims to be "entry level". The flash never seems to work when it should, and always flashes charging when you need it, by the time the flash is ready I hope you didnt miss your picture. Its a good camera for still daylight pictures. If you make any fast movements when taking a picture, you will not get the picture you are looking for, it has delayed timing. Battery life is not to bad with this camera, I would suggest taking your batteries out when not in use, as with all digital cameras. I bought it for my 16 year old, its user friendly for new users. Easy to download to your computer and good step by step walk through instructions. Fairy inexpensive for an average digital camera.
This camera is amazing. I love it take and get really good closeups of my items that I want to sell on ebay. It has also been a very effective item to have in using to take pictures of defects in items that I have received and send those back to a seller when necessary. It takes great shots of family, and other places. I dedcided to get this camera because of the 5x zoom option on it. I have another HP photosmart camera that only had a 2x zoom on it. This camera will come in handy especially at my grandchildrens school events where you just can't get really close to the stage. Plus unlike my other HP photosmart camera which uses 4 batteries this one only uses 2. It has great additional options for you to adjust the picture brightness and saturation before you take the shot. I am very, very pleased with this camera. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion. I actually love this camera... must be the user... cause I've taken many great photos with this particular camera, and am looking for a new one just like it!(I dropped mine, and it hit pretty hard, broke the clip on the battery cover, but the camera still works, I just have to be careful not to touch the battery door or it will fall off). I have taken many close ups that have turned out great!!! The only problem I have with it is... the batteries do not stay charged very long, it sucks the life right out of them... but thats what rechargeables are for, I noticed since I've been using those, they stay charged for a very long time! But other than that, I love my camera!!! Very easy to use!
Excellent camera for the email world. Just enough mp for the internet. Nice size lcd, eazy functional menu, light very light. Stores pics on camera memory and on card memory. Not so good for your pocket battery wise. I have rechargeable batteries and still after a minute the batteries are low. The flash seems to pull a lot as well.
Pictures are not sharp. Color is sometimes not accurate. Bit of a lag between pushing the button and taking the picture. Flash works from about 5ft to 10ft. Camera eats thru batteries, particularly if you use the screen. It is easy to use. Ours was used by a 3 year old. Menu is easy to navigate. Seems to be able to take a little beating as well. If you use disposables a lot, this is a good substitute if you can get it for $20 or less. Also a good camera for kids. Not recommended for that trip to Rome or Disneyworld.
This is a fun, pocket sized digital camera. It's easy to operate, has good resolution, zooms to 5x, and is a great first camera.
good point and shoot with lots of color/picture options. Uses standard SD card which is nice and easy. Fast reaction time, but not as quick as many more expensive cameras. A bit clunky, but still fits in a pocket, about the size of a disposable camera. Nice starter camera.
