This is the 21 track CD version as opposed to the 10/11 track long version, so with this one you get 11 more 'Previously Unreleased Bonus Tracks.' I'd say that On Her Majesty's Secret Service has to probably be one of the best Bond soundtracks made, along with Thunderball. This CD has all the tunes from every part of the film, including the quiet sentimental moments- as a result there is a fair few quieter and softer tunes, like track 11: 'We Have All the Time in The World/James Bond Theme.' It is soft and slow at first, but then breaks out into the James Bond theme from the end credits which is good. Opposed to the quieter tunes you get the powerful brash action sequence tunes too, like 'Escape from Piz Gloria' etc. The track listing is as follows: 1. We Have All The Time In The World 2. This Never Happened To The Other Fella 3. Try 4. Ski Chase 5. Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown 6. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (main theme) 7. Journey To Blofeld's Hideaway 8. We Have All The Time In The World 9. Over And Out 10. Battle At Piz Gloria 11. We Have All The Time In The World/James Bond Theme Previously Unreleased Bonus Tracks: 12. Journey To Draco's Hideaway 13. Bond And Draco 14. Gumbold's Safe 15. Bond Settles In 16. Bond Meets The Girls 17. Dusk At Piz Gloria 18. Sir Hillary's Night Out 19. Blofeld's Plot 20. Escape From Piz Gloria 21. Bobsled Chase All in all, I'd say this soundtrack is excellent as it has all the tunes from every bit of the film without too many alternate versions like the Dr. No OST. You can really picture the film in your mind when you hear this soundtrack. Needless to say... This soundtrack is great to listen to while skiing in the Alps! It gives you a buzz and helps improve the velocity of your skiing by a good few meters per second! Hope this review was helpful.Read full review
A few good tracks on this, the classic, We Have All The Time In The World (Louis Armstrong,)Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown? (Nina)and of course John Barry's Main Theme -On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which even todays stands the test of time. The remastered version also has extra tracks, which as most sound tracks, are a version on a theme!
