About this product

Product Information

For hundreds of years, diviners and mystics have claimed the ability to see into the future by the manipulation of tarot cards. This ancient art enters the digital age in Taboo: The Sixth Sense. Provide Taboo with your name, birth date, sex, and most importantly, a question about the future. You will then receive a ten-card reading, giving an explanation of each upturned card, a final answer to your query, and last but not least, a set of lucky numbers. Also included with Taboo is an instruction manual that gives a brief history and explanation of tarot cards, as well as a special velvet bag to store the cartridge.

  • Taboo NES

This is a game my parents always told me not to play with, it even comes with a warning on the box! To this day I still think the game must be really creepy and powerful haha.. Pretty much, this is a Quija Board rip off. You put in your name and birth date, then ask a question and watch as the tarot cards are delt, after you get a lousy answer, you select your state and it gives you lucky lottery numbers. And that my friends, is the whole game. I would call it "poor" but due to nostalgia *only* I rated it a 2. Unless it's free, don't take it home.

  • Taboo: The Review

This is such a novelty game, awesome for small gatherings and teenagers. The game gives a unique tarot reading that not only describes the meaning of the tarot cards, but also how each card relates to the others. Very innovative for an old-school gaming system. This is not a puzzle game or skill game, merely entertaining and thought provoking. I highly recommend Taboo for anyone who has a love of mysticism and ten minutes to kill.

  • Scary

Well, its kinda weird, back in 1990 I bought the game Taboo, and tried it out,for 3 months everything it said came true, like turning pages of a book, I'l tell you some, that came true,A death in my family, mixed up in a divorce ,and moving to another home. All came true in 3,months it scared my daughter so much, who was 12yrs. She took it,and to this day shes 31 now and still wont talk about it or what she did with the game. I bought it again. Now,and I'l see whats in store for me. Hope its better, this time. Enjoy

  • Taboo: The Sixth Sense (Nintendo)

Great novelty "game". Very life-like Tarot card reading with explanations. Was eerily accurate with the first use. Also gives your lucky numbers. As a collector of novelty games, this was definitely a good addition to the collection.

  • Taboo is a simulated Tarot deck. Pretty simple.

This is a nice game... it shows you two options and you select one of them, after some selections, the game can predict pretty much your personality, if you have taboos or not... A rare game. At least interesting.
