About this product

Product Information

This early title for the Game Boy Advance represents an innovative blend of several different gaming styles and gameplay factors. In the tradition of the early 1990s Rampart, Fortress features puzzle-style building sequences followed by an action-oriented battle mode. The building blocks of a potentially mighty castle fall from the sky, much like Tetris pieces that must be quickly positioned in the best place for a tight fit with few holes. When the battle begins, the player must deploy variously armed minions in strategic places to exploit the weaknesses of her opponent's castle while maintaining enough of a defensive force to protect her own.

Item came and worked as described, however, the seller did not mention that the plug connector part of the controller sticks really badly. You have to push it extra hard to get it into the port, and equally as hard to remove it. I wish this was at least in the description. However, the controller works.

  • My favorite GBA Game

I have over 30 gba games, however this one is my favorite. I wondered how long a game lasted. I played this game for 30 minutes to 2 hours each day for over 6 years and it final wore out and I had to have another one. I like it because to build the fort becomes an art of moving and rearrange the falling blocks and it is very relaxing to me. I have even fell asleep and dropped the game in my lap I was so relaxed. MY FAVORITE GAME

This game is wierd let me say that at first. I had to try to play this game many times before really understanding what all I have to do in this game. The graphics are a bit weak, sorry. The gameplay is ok, and purely for wierdness I have to say it's a 4 outta 5'r
