    The Program Works!

    I was on the McDougall program just 2 months when I experienced the first results of no more arthritic pain in my hip, my big toe and my thumb. Dr. McDougall clearly explains why the program works and how long you need to do the program before you start seeing results. The recipes in the book are delicious with no funky meat substitutes. I especially love the sherbet. If you don't tell your guests they are eating a vegan recipe, they will never miss the meat. The McDougall recipes compensate for the "umami" lift meat gives food by using a variety of spices. Avid meat eaters should not be afraid that their lives will be boring and void of pleasure if they go on this program. It's worth the read even if you don't do anything. There are enough recipes in the book to help you ...
