This press can really compress an espresso puck. I have a 3lb hammer that I tap the press with while compressing and what comes out is almost a brick. A 15 bar espresso maker can only dribble water thru my puck and the taste is incredible. No cavitating, no blowouts, brew the entire puck in one pass. Yeah, this fruit juicer is a good espresso tool.
