I have had this printer before and when the print head system pump failed I replaced it with the current printer. For an inexpensive printer it has 2 features I really like; Ethernet connectivity and the ability to print on directly DVD/CDs. It is easy to install BUT MAKE SURE you use the supplied "started cartridges". If you try to use any other LC101/103 cartridges the installation software will not recognize the cartridges as "plugged-in", and it displays continuous error messages telling you to firm;y plug in the cartridges. The chips in the started cartridges must have a different identifier than the general replacement chips. It took me a while to figure this one out. Other than that, easy install.

Nice printer in described condition. It would probably be great for most people and easy to set up as well, but it just didn't work for me. It was impossible for me to set up because this particular Brother model is incompatible with my current operating system. Apple tried to help me revert back to my old operating system so that I could use the printer but it was not possible. Brother was of no assistance at all. The print quality was not bad, just not great.

Printed very good at first but now cleaning will not bring it back to print good. I am going to watch some Youtube videos to see if I can go the next step to making it print. good. The Red is not coming through the print head. All printers get to this state.

I love this model, especially the wireless! I can print from anywhere and when I come to the printer it is there waiting for me to collect. Even printing of photos are nice the kids have printed out a couple of photos for their walls and it looks great. I love this model I totally recommend to small home business or home use.

Best Printer I ever did own. Easy to use, cheap to run. Lasted 10 years before it kept clogging. If i printed dailey as i used to I would get another hands down. Uses reman inks with no issues, obviously get good reman inks (LD) Scan, Copy, Print and Fax is super easy, the PaperPort program I comes with is very usefull too.

Brother printers work good for external (continuous) ink supply systems (CISS). Pay pennies per print on ink (paper is still expensive though). I will never buy Epson, HP, or (especially) Canon again. Ink is where they make their money off of you. Buy a bulk ink system and save money (less messy than refill kits too).

My Canon Pixma got that B200 error. I tried to fix it but was not successful. So I got this Brother printer which was soooo much easier to set up, more compact and faster. Super happy.

I like the brother printer. It works very well wirelessly and gives a good print out. I believe that I get more prints per cartridge than I do with my HP. So far so good.
