    Replacement phones

    I needed a couple of phones with the same style as the display and speaker was failing. I got the exact same phones but for some reason they are not compatible with the other ones that I have that still worked. I'm keeping them any way so I don't have different phones. I just needed to reenter my phone list on the new phone. Not sure if you can tell me what the difference is as they both had the same model number.

    It is what it is

    Not much to say about V-tech. It does what it says until they start to display to annoying "No line" message and you have to go through EVERY phone, phone jack, phone battery, phone handset or phone base, to find the culprit. This can be problematic when you have close to 15 phones in the house. Although I wish V-tech would make it easier to sync newly purchased phone sets as one base unit, when I DO buy new handsets from V-tech, I actually prefer for them NOT to be registered to the same base - because if that one base malfunctions or is faulty or gets unpluged, this means that ALL 15 phones registered to that base are out as well. For that reason, I keep my three base units UN-synced, and keep an old time analog phone plugged direct to the phone line at all times.

    Easy to set up

    This is a great and very easy to set up item. It works exactly as advertised, it took a hard-to-hear-conversations cell phone, and turned it into and easy to hear home phone with an answering machine and an extra phone station for my desk.
