  • Honest but painful

Alison Arngrim paints a sad but true childhood, but grows to be a stronger woman because of it. The stories of "Little House" are particularly enjoying because it gives us a "behind the camera" look at how TV was made. There is some foul language in the book, and that troubled me. But that was her life, and she doesn't try to "sugar coat" it.
