Good Value for Small Room Usage
Needed a system that took up less room than our old one yet did all the same things... CD, cassette, turntable, etc. This is not a unit for people who want a super sophisticated sound system. It is for people with limited space who just want something to play relaxing music while they sit and read and don't need all the fancy speakers, etc. The only thing I disliked is something that seems to happen with a lot of foreign made products... the instruction manual. The writers apparently assume you are of a particular electronic mindset and they leave out a little step or two that seem trivial to them, but which reeks havoc with the average Joe or Jane trying to follow the instructions. No "Power off" mode ... broken hinges to record player cover
All is good, except 1) the hinges on the cover are both broke. (see attachments) I do not want to go through the hassle of boxing up and returning the entire device, just a new cover, and 2) there is no "Power Off." Instead, there is a "Standby" mode when not in use. Is this something new?
