The coffee pot arrived safely, clean & intact. Due to the summer heat transport though, much glue from the tape remains on the sides & the glass. Oh well. Also, we were pleased with the speed.     GE cassettes

    These are great little recorders using a most long lasting recording medium cassette tape invented I think by Phillips in Europe. PC's floppy disks were trash dying in 6 years while cassettes I have are still going after 20 years. Only problem is you can NOT drop the GE's because they quit working. Other players will take a drop or two but not this one. Overall I like the controls and operation on the GE better than others since they seem sophisticated for an inexpensive player/dictation-recorder. JUST DO NOT DROP IT!

    If I knew it did not have a variable Lowe speed I would not have bought it.

    Volume had too much squeal down low setting.

    Owned one before

    Used it for less than one minute and it failed. Brought it to store than sold cassettes. They could do nothing with it. I tossed it in the garbage.
