    Son's favorite Lego set

    My son mowed lawns all spring and then watched the prices on this set on eBay before he had to stretch a little to make the winning bid. He hasn't stopped playing with it since it arrived, so I'd say it was well worth it. Great detail on all the mini figs, and it's a large and substantial set. Great for any Lord of the Rings fans.

    Lego Helm's Deep

    I love this set! This is a phenomenal build and accurately depicts the Helm's Deep fortress as shown in the Lord of the Rings films. The circular design is genius and is a very cool technic to learn in general. This set includes mostly valuable brick pieces which can be used in a variety of other things which allows this set to be used for other things which is a huge bonus as well. Helm's Deep comes with great minifigures as well. There are several Uruk Hai which are valuable by themselves and they are evenly matched by an Aragorn, Gimly and rare Haldir and Theoden minifigure. The play features are great as well! You have a nice build for a ladder, a great and sturdy gate, nice causeway and awesome exploding wall feature, to list a few.
