So Cute, Perfect Size
I was looking to replace my DVD player and wanted something small. This is a Great little DVD player, Great picture, and sound, has closed caption, remote is easy to use. I love it, its just the right size for the desk in my office and it doesn't take up much space. The Screen swivels 180 degrees. It comes with a wall plug and car adaptor, so it can be plugged into a cigarette lighter. Has a rechargeable battery so it runs without any power source which is a plus. The screen measures 7 inches diagonally from corner to corner, the unit itself is approx. 9 inches. The Volume does reset to the highest level when powered on but its not a problem, you just adjust to the volume level down to what you want and its good to go. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase this DVD player. I would recommend this product.

Horrible resolution
I got this DVD player in today so I could watch DVDs during my lunch break. Well, the screen resolution is horrible, with lines going through it and discoloration all over the place. I first tried a Three Stooges disc that had color and black and white version, and everyone looks like they have bad cases of eczema. I tried another and yet another DVD and got the same results. I tried adjusting the brightness, sharpness and contrast and all got the same result. It all looked like a watercolor nightmare as you can see in the pictures below.

Nice little DVD player
There are only a couple of things I don't like about this unit and they are minor quibbles. Every time you turn the unit off and back on the volume defaults to the maximum setting, and the remote has a few too many small buttons to make it easy to use in the dark or without my glasses. Other than that it is a very nice little unit.

Perfect for a single viewer
Absolutely LOVE this. It works great, has a clear picture and good volume. I use this to watch DVDs to help me learn guitar at home. I can take it to a private room and strum away or even outside on the deck. Very portable and well made.

Great portable dvd player
This is the 2nd Sylvania portable dvd player we have purchased and we love it! The sound quality and picture are sharp and I love the swivel screen too. The plus side is you can use the remote or buttons on the player as well. Great for home or in the car!

great little budget portable dvd player
works great, easy to understand. plays dvds well for video files tou need some work though. but if you use any video converter ultimate and convert your videos to custom AVI with video codec MPEG4 and audio MP3 it plays great. you can pobable do the same with most freeware video converters too sound is great picture too considering it's a 7" screen and tiny speakers the price is upper end of what I would pay since you can get a 7" tablet for a few dollars more but its well worth it for long commutes or if you don't have a tv/dvd player
