    A good solid unit for recovering old microcassette audio

    This was a used item, so of course your mileage may vary, but it is an excellent product if you have need for dealing with old microcassette tapes. It is a solid and stable machine that runs from AC power, which puts it in a whole different league from repurposed pocket units. The line out is on a mono 1/8" socket, and it plays nicely with mixers and such. It includes speed and tone controls, a nice plus. I integrated this into an audio rack environment, and 3D-printed a pair of 1" wide triangular supports that are attached to the RR-930 with velcro and to the substrate with 3M high-bond foam tape.

    Panasonic RR-930 Cassette Transcriber

    Product was in good shape and works well. They are getting harder to find as most people use MP3 to record. This product work well with micro cassettes from phone recordings. Product is as described. As with most of these machines the counter does not work, nice to have but is not necessary functionality. Very happy with this product and seller.

    Will help me digitize many years of interviews

    Arrived well-packed, and as described. I recorded many interviews in half a century of news reporting (on about every form of media you can imagine). I wanted to digitize some of the more interesting ones, and wanted to be able to skip through the dull parts with a foot control. This should make the task easier, I hope.
