Joel McCrea in a family friendly film, general entertainment with a moral message about child rearing.
"Cattle Drive" is more of a family western than an 'adult' themed film. The story is about a young, rich and spoiled child Dean Stockwell gets lost in the desert; he is rescued by a cattle drive foreman. Along the cattle drive, the young lad learns many life lessons, changing from self-centered, rude and petulant into a considerate, wiser and thoughtful of others young man. The photography is great, technicolor nice and acting passable. A moral message for the family. General entertainment. The DVD is too expensive for what you get. Good family movie, no foul language
I saw this movie on TV but didn't see the end. So of course I had to buy the DVD to see it LOL. I'm glad I did! My husband enjoyed it and it's actually a great movie for kids to watch also. Clean language which doesn't happen often in movies anymore.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
