    Great build quality . the three dials can't be assigned to some of the options . Good image quality for the sensor size . the dials and buttons work smooth an positive . Could use a little more zoom . The reason for four stars is the weight , pretty heavy for It's sizes .

    Great camera, short battery life

    This camera takes clear photos, is easy to handle and is fun to use. I plan to mostly use this camera to shoot video while on hiking/backpacking trips. It has great image stabilization, feels great in your hands and I love the fully articulating screen. My only qualm with this camera is the battery life. I can run the battery down in just one full day after shooting around 100 photos and a short video. Not terrible, but considering that I will be taking it on backpacking trips I will need to buy extra batteries. All in all though, I really enjoy using it and look forward to capturing more moments, landscapes and memories on hikes and backpacking trips.

    Camera review

    Great small camera that is pretty user friendly. Great picture. My biggest complaint is it is way to easy for a person to accidentally erase all their pictures on their sim card if you accidentally press format. It should be alot more difficult to erase all your pictures in less than one second.

    Got My G5x Back

    I bought this camera several years ago and ended up selling it to try the latest and the greatest. After trying the latest and greatest I wished I had kept the G5x. I saw this one at a great price and I bought it. Pictures are sharp and low light photography is great.

    Great for forensic photography

    Second one I have owned. I use it to take pictures in very hostile environments, such as burned out buildings and flooded basements. It is a champ. Dropped old one from a ladder and was glad to still be able to find a new one to buy.
