Wifi range issues eliminated.
I purchased this router for two reasons. The first is that the AT&T supplied router simply did not have the necessary range to cover my entire (brick) home, and the second is that in the very near future I shall be upgrading to fiber internet that is being supplied by our local power company. They will provide the necessary modem for the fiber to be converted to a usable signal for the computer to use, but no router. This router more than fits the bill on both counts.
