      Nice meter, and it does DC non contact amps.

      It's a great meter when doing nay work but lends itself well to solar installations for checking voltage and current without needing a shunt. Works great on the boat and the trucks for chasing circuits and various function. The quality that in know with Klien ensure its going to last a lifetime. Currently discontinued in Manufacturing and half the price of other non contact meters. It's a great buy if you can find one in good shape used, or old new stock.

      All around great meter

      I have used Fluke meters most of my career and I found this meter to be almost as good. The built in magnet mount is awesome. I found the display to be easy to see and read. This is a AC/DC amp meter and at the price is a great bargain. This meter is not auto ranging so you have to push a button to get to the range you need, not really a big deal. The non contact voltage sensing is a nice feature but does not work well when multiple circuits are close together.

      Great clamp meter - especially for the money.

      While you can obviously spend a lot more on a good DC clamp meter, for the money, I really think Klein’s CL2000 is a winner. I have used other more expensive clamp meters at work and personally I wouldn’t have an issue using this meter for just about anything.

      THE KLEIN CL2000 IS PACKED WITH FEATURES THAT YOU WILL NOT FIND ON OTHER METERS LIKE THIS , PROB HOLDERS BOTH TOP AND BACK, WORK LIGHT, RMS, LARGE DISPLAY, GREAT BACK LIGHT, I AM VERY IMPRESS, VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT.

      Makes my job easier.

      I like the built in clamp meter, no need to carry two meters for volts and Amps but the magnetic back is what really makes this meter my favorite, no need for that third hand you don't have, the magnet holds the meter while I hold the two probes, it makes my job safer by not having to jam or balance the meter in an electrical cabinet while I do live voltage tests. I'm not an electrician but a Maintenance Engineer and this meter does everthing but DC amps and I only have one machine that I need to do that test on. In conclusion I like this meter and would recomended it.
