I battled to decide between the Kings awning and this one, as they were both similarly priced, and had similar features. You see Kings awnings everywhere, so that was pulling me towards the known brand but I also read heaps of bad reviews about Kings awnings, so in the end I decided to go with this one based largely on the colour being preferable and the fact that they would probably both be pretty poor quality anyway. Well I am pleased to say I have used this twice now and both times it was easy to set up and down and stood up all day without even needing to use guy ropes, even with one of the days being quite breezy. It looks great in the grey and appears to be pretty good quality, so I am really happy I went with this choice. Some points to consider: It does come in half, which I did not realise, so you do need to put it together yourself but it’s not too difficult The telescopic poles do come apart quite easy when you are setting it up if you pull them out too far and then difficult to get back together, so go easy with that The Velcro straps that hold it once rolled up could be longer, they just fit around it The bag is not the best quality and the zip can get stuck if you open it too far plus the back is zipped up and would have been better secured to the aluminium plate but it works okRead full review
