Hot Wheels "Kool Classics"
The cool classics series barely made it through it's second year due to its lack of sales. But Mattel let it finish to the end of it's second year series. There are alot of "Kool Classics" in both series. But my favorite car out of both series is the '65 Mercury Comet Cyclone Gasser. This makes #4 from this series. This one Kool Classic to be remembered for a long,long time!

Like something out of a pulp story!
This Hot Wheels car has a definite 1940s vibe going on. With its long, low, sleek design and rounded edges, it looks like the car of some pulp hero or villain with the word "purple" in his or her name (the Purple Panda). Like all Hot Wheels, it's made of sturdy die-cast metal and rolls smooth and straight. A terrific job all around, great for kids to play with or for using as a prop for a game or diorama.This Hot Wheels car has a definite 1940s vibe going on. This is one of those models that will never go out of style. These little fords" trucks, coupes and roadsters" will endure forever. Timeless classics especially with such cool paint jobs which have been appearing. No printing of slogans or advertisements is the way to present these little guys. All that lettering and numbering just distracts from the classic appearance, which has made these models as popular as ever through out the decades of HOT RODDING.
