My Uncle who I never met died on this island. His squadron arrived in October and died one month later (1944). What he and his men had to go through in a daily basis will make you sick to your stomach. God Bless all the men that died on leyte and to all our men that died protecting our country , we owe all of you a purple heart. Thank you all. Great hat , will display it with my other pictures of my Uncle.
