This servo is fantastic. I'm using it for my 1/10 scale Axial Bomber with XL tires and other extra weight and this servo performs beautifully. For only around $100 for a waterproof, surprisingly strong, and almost all metal servo, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Just get yourself an aluminum servo arm separately and replace the philips head screw it comes with, with a hex screw as the philips type strips easily.

I bought this to replace the dual servos in my Traxxas Summit, which had finally burned out. I had done it before with an E-Revo, so I knew it would work well. With that dual servo arrangement, they are constantly fighting each other unless adjusted perfectly, and I think even then, they fight each other in certain areas. It was obvious. One place where it could be improved is to make the leads to the capacitor ("glitch buster") a bit longer. When routing the leads out of the waterproof receiver box, then through the other little box next to it, there is precious little room to mount it where it is out of the way of the motor. I do notice the lights on my Summit flicker a bit when I turn the steering, so this is a demanding servo, power-wise. It is best used with a separate battery eliminator circuit (BEC) or with an electronic speed control (ESC) that has a robust BEC.Higher voltage is better; it means the servo will need less current or will move faster.Read full review

Very fast very powerful fully waterproof! I broke the plastic mounting tabs completely off. I wish they offered a metal cap for this but oh well i mounted it a different way works fine. I love the performance of this servo period. Everything is perfect about it just wish it came in a metal cap format but most servos dont anyway. It was extremely cold and a big jump when it broke so it being plastic i cant really complain i knew what i was doing i hope that i can buy another cap for cheap if not my home made mound works just fine in my Vaterra Ascender brushless 2speed

this servo is awesome. great speed and torque compared to the underachieving stock traxxas servo from my trx4 bronco. much more responsive and turns the stock wheels with ease. even when pinned against an obstacle. I run it with a hobbywing wp1080 esc since the stock traxxas one is crap and went up in smoke within 3 weeks of ownership. I don't notice a need for a bec since the hobbywing esc outputs a continuous 6v @ 3a compared to the week 6v @ 1a traxxas esc. you could run a bec for more power since it is a hv servo (7.4v). i'm considering doing that in the future to compare the improvement in speed/torque. but if you do that, make sure to run a rx bypass. the stock trx4 micoservos/receiver are only rated for 6v. you WILL need a servo extension however, since the lead is very short. i'm running a 6" spektrum lead, works greatRead full review

I use this on my axial wraith...plenty of power and it's waterproof. It's been installed for about a month now I've had it underwater a couple of times. So far so good and my son in law has one on his yeti for about 5 months and he loves it.
