  • An excellent cement that provides a superior hold where other adhesives fail.

I found this contact cement to be very strong when bonding certain items. It is a little messy to work with but it holds well. I just used it to bond a sneaker where the toe area rubber sole had come loose. I have yet to find any easy glues or adhesives that were strong enough to hold the rubber sole upright where it would stay, this Wellwood cement is the only thing I have found success with.

  • Excellent Adhesive Qualities

This stuff bonds most materials very well (paper, thin metals, wood) and is easy to apply with the built-in applicator brush. Two negatives: 1) ten minute wait time before mating the surfaces if you want a truly permanent bond, and 2) Cannot make any adjustment to the pieces once they are joined - they instantly bond and cannot be moved AT ALL.

  • A Great Product that will last longer than the glass bottle if I have to cut it with acetone that evaporates

I've used this for years but had a problem with the glass bottle 3 ounce drying out. I prefer the metal can as it's easier to control usage and to get a little or a lot out of it as the can has a lip into can and for a Microsoft Mouse was able to first trim the rubber surrounding the mouse to fit the mouse coat both the rubber and plastic of the mouse and after they dried easily refit and don't think that I'll ever have an issue with it. I was an Automotive Engineer and have always used this product on cars or even in my house to repair and it will be easier if I notice it drying out in a year or two to add some acetone and bring it back to being a liquid again.

  • BEST CONTACT CEMENT EVER

This contact cement is the best and strongest on this planet. I have used it on my 6 wheel Autonomous Robots holding metal, plastic with a very strong bond. No other contact cement ever matched this brand.

  • Great bonding contact cement!

I’ve used this a lot and rely on it for tight a bond...really sticks! That being said, before you apply the cement, make sure you are careful to plan exactly how you will proceed before you apply the cement. I usually work from one side to the other. Never try to stick it down flat. It can be tricky because you only get one shot to do it right! I would practice using it on some small things before you tackle anything important. Product is hIghly recommended!

  • Great for upholstery

Did my 350z armrest in red vinyl leather. Used this to glue the vinyl to the foam and worked great! So far 2 weeks with it stuck on and looks OEM. No signs of peeling or coming off. I would definitely order it again for other projects. Just be aware that it's a small bottle and this was just enough to do both armrests of my car. You can see in the picture how much it covered. Was left with 1/4 of the bottle. Worth it!

  • Blow out fixed!

I watched a video on Youtube about repairing an athletic shoe sole blow out. The guy used DAP Weldwood Contact Cement to glue the sole back on, so I thought I'd give it a try. To make a long story short...it appears to have worked for me. I had my doubts, but I've been wearing my shoes for the past few days, and the repair is holding up just fine so far. Very pleased with this product.

  • DAP Weldwood

i used for securing the uppers of a pair of quad roller skates to the soles...the original cement had dried out...i recommend using a C-clamp and letting dry overnight if you are repairing something sturdy/heavy....it worked great and saved my having to visit a cobbler....very happy with the product

  • A Firm Bond At An Arm's Reach

As claimed, it glues and cements. This is an item that every household should have at hand. It is very useful and versatile. It is waterproof after dry, and holds parts together firmly. Ours came in a can; not in a glass bottle, as pictured. But we are overall pleased with the purchase.

  • Highly recommended

I've used Weldwood contact cement for 30 years. When I've been out of the US, I've had to use other brands and no other brand measures up to Weldwood. I highly recommend it.
