These bags are the perfect size for my family. There is just the two of us and the bigger bags just didn't work for me. I do use the quart size once in awhile, but the pint if just right for meals for 2. The bags are excellent quality. They seal perfectly and preserve our food for a long time. The price is low and the shipping is fast. You can't go wrong using these bags.

I have no problems with these bags when using them with the FoodSaver vacuum sealer. However when trying to use them with the Black & Decker vacuum sealer problems arise. Nearly 25% of the bags fail to seal completely with the B&D sealers. I do not have the same problems with other bag types. The B&D model does require much more pressure to make a seal but I'm used to this. We also attempted to use them in a Seal A Meal and had fewer problems but a few still failed to seal properly. Since the failures were not in the same location each time it could not have been the fault of the heating wire. If you are using a FoodSaver then you will likely have very few problems with these bags.

These are wonderful bags! I think they are every bit as good as the Food Saver bags if not Better! They hold their seals well and are nice and thick to prevent any freezer burn. I love that they can be used as boil in bags, it is so handy to just pop them in a pan of water to heat up. Can't do that with Food Saver! I have been buying these bags for a few years now, and will continue to do so as the quality and price are unbeatable!

Packed a 20# bag of rice in vac bags. For us, we needed 1cup and 2cup packages. The pint bags were perfect. And they take up less space in our cupboard, when the stack gets low we can get more from the closet. The quart size bags are excellent for packing hamburg or bulk sausage, saves freezer space, no freezer burn, and we can buy in bulk!!
