I bought this to clean a polished stainless steel item. I tried the standard Autosol Chrome / Metal cleaner on a test area and it left fine scratches. I've used the standard polish for years and know there is nothing wrong with it - it was just a case of me using the wrong tool for the job. Looking for a quality but gentler polish I tried this M1 polish. I am delighted with the result. The mirror like finish has been restored and no scratching.

It gives an amazing shine but hasn't removed the blemishes I had hoped to go. Make no mistakes though, the shine on the chrome is amazing.

Although it does as claimed it is way overpriced.only purchased as I wanted a milder version of the original for plastic chrome on my custom bike. The original version is great for alloy, stainless (dirty) or tarnished metals but for good chrome, perfect stainless & plastic chrome it's too harsh. This version is over hyped..if you want a mild polish for these items use windolene or similar glass polish-does the same job without scratching for a fraction of the price!

I bought this to polish faded plastic chrome strip on my Jag. It polished up the rear Jaguar strip and leaping gag badge superbly. But the faded window strip did not polish up unfortunately.
