Great product, hardest part of the job is to fit the crankshaft position sensor Found a great tip on Youtube to unbolt the bracket that holds the heater pipes that requires removal of one bolt and then using a piece of cord I pulled the heater pipes and bracket up towards the inlet manifold which meant I then had room to reach the crankshaft sensor easily. Another tip undo the single M6 bolt (using a small 10mm ring spanner) that holds the sensor in ( do by feel) then extract the sensor still attached to electrical loom and then its easy to disconnect it as its almost impossible to do with the sensor bolted in, no room!!!!. I attached the new sensor to the electrical loom and then installed it. Another tip...put a bit of lube on the Oring of the new sensors to aid insertion. No more problems
After reading a lot of infos relating to my car's problems I decided to buy this cam/crank sensor pair. Replacing them was not a big deal as I followed instructions found on the internet. The 'sudden-stop' problem of my X-Trail has never occurred after that. Great product at a great price!
