      The Peruaders, the Complete Collection

      Vintage 70’s TV; and the last starring Tony Curtis (he played secondary characters after this program). It is also the last TV series for Roger Moore before he became James Bond. The series is played for laughs but still has a few moments of suspense. First viewed this series on Netflix and loved it. If you liked the 1st Austin Powers movie you’ll probably like this TV series, too. But unlike Austin Powers, no potty humor or foul language. However there are plenty of beautiful ladies, dashing men, wonderful scenary; and stars driving fast, expensive sports cars while casually spouting witticisms at every turn.

      Fun detective show with famous playboy millionaires

      I like Roger Moore and Tony Curtis and as 1970s millionaire playboy detectives they are engaging. Nice action, sports cars (Aston Martin for Roger and Ferrari Dino for Tony), and pretty girls don't hurt either. Good period fun with no real violence. Shot on location at some expense. This series was very popular in Europe especially England where it was produced by ITC. Never really caught on in the USA which is a shame as really quite well done.

      The Persuaders is persuading

      A must for either Tony Curtis or Roger Moore fans. For those who loved The Saint, this is just about as engaging but so much better technically, apparently transferred from color film. (The Saint was in b&w until the last season or two.) Many lkush images of the South of France.
