This is no Pink World, and everything changes over time, Tony Carey's Planet P Project has done just that. Living in Germany for several decades, hes not writing about facisim just to scream against "state-ism from the right" while giving a free pass to "state-ism on the left". In 2004 when Tony released this disc, even then he was writing about us...him...living in a Society that has had dictators that have warped peoples minds, evolving with the skinheads, modern day Germany still has its deep downs. He's writing about what he knows, instead of trying to cover "Every Evil Known to Man", No complaints. In the song ``Believe it'', he sings: "Believe it, you better believe it now. Ready or not, well here they come, just like 1931". I dont think Tonys mind was soly set on thinking about Hitlers boys when he wrote this. Tony talks about the skinhead groups that very well could be outside your door right now. Remember, "The boys from Charlie street". and then "he believes this is his destiny, he believes this is fate, and he believes he was born about 50 years too late". This is one kickin' song!! The whole idea is that people want to turn away from disturbing trends, ignore them, and just "go out dancing". These songs all talk about significant issues. None of these are dance songs people, despite the Go Out Dancing name, or i should say not meant to be dance songs, but they have great beats, so possibley yes, lets "Go Out Dancing at The End of The World" The last song on this cd called Where Does It Go, sums up alot. ``If you're watching it, you're part of it. If you're close enough to see it, you're in it. There's no line dividing the two. And if you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going, Do You?''. :) This cd, part one of the Go Out Dancing Trilogy, is a fabulous cd, music, vocals, lyrics all comes down to the fact that Tony Carey is a hell of a talented dude. Part two of the trilogy has just been released in Europe as a pre-release, available at truebeliever.de. The cd is entitled Go Out Dancing - Levittown(Pt.2) is now available in US. Thats another review, but a sneak preview...its incredible, moving through from where Where Does it Go left off. Remember too many years, couple decades have gone by since PPP first two albums....Dont look for it here, its the 21st century sound of Tony Carey and Planet P Project. TheSpacemanRead full review
