  • Must read but skim the reptitions

This book is a crucial ending to a great series of historical semi romantic adventure and it took such a long time to be released. Sadly the author repeated so much of the already known sections of the book, eg lineage and most other achievements of the main character, The book could have been half the size, read in half the time with the same level of enjoyments but sadly the author used the repetition to swell the size of the book.

  • The name is true to the content

The value of this product is only understood if you read the previous 5 books How refreshing to learn about life in the Ice Age. So much enjoyable Fiction, Interwoven with so much Truth. Jean M Auel has been applauded for her research And 50 Shades pales to insignificance compared with the Love Life of the two main characters Man’s connection with wild animals....this has to be the beginning of that theme. The heroine is a bit unbelievable in her knowledge, but forgive her, because she’s adorable

  • Draws you in.

Jean M Auel is fantastic. Just amazing in all she has written . You don`t want to put the book down. The story involves you without you realizing. You can just see the people fighting the Mammouths , Bears, cave Lions. Traveling through the snow and rivers the vast land and country. Forrest, plans. The people they meet and the thing`s they learn and in turn teach others. I recommend these books to anyone. A big 5 star plus.. Heather Trompp

  • A must have book to follow Ayla's journey.

This is the sixth and latest in Jean Auel's books of Earth's Children. I had read it previously - from the library, and I had the other books about Ayla. Glad I now have this one so that I can read them all in sequence for whenever I want, and as often as I want. This book is in hardcover with a colourful picture on the cover. I'm very pleased to add this to my collection of these books. A must have book to complete the set Jean Auel's books on Ayla's life, her personality develops with her relationships, and there is a historical component.
