I've only tried it a few times since I got it (recently), but the mesh head is great, and the sensitivity is sufficient on the tom-toms, while providing a nice surface to pound. I've had some issues with one of the cymbals' output, but I think it could be just overwhelming the pedal I'm using. For the money (600), it's a fantastic way to bring drumming into your life without having to bug anyone else, with the added bonus of easy interfacing to other electronics.

Great sounding little drum set. It's Roland quality. The bundle from Kraft Music included a nice throne, headphones, 7A size sticks and 3' cord ito input music devices. The unit has one additional input for an additional crash cymbal so I purchase an additional cymbal pad tor $105 so I would have two crashes.

The downsides are - 1) the standard kick pedal isn't for mid level to advanced drummers who are used to using a spring tensioned pedal for making 16th notes or quicker on the base drum. The v drum kick trigger and a real kick pedal should be added for those advanced players. 2) I'd like the cymbal rods to be longer and the tom set up to be more adjustable. You are sort of stuck with the tom and cymbal placement the set is designed to offer. The sound and feel are great though.

I can't walk away from this thing. Found myself jammin' to one of the internal songs for over an hour. It's just plain addictive. I've got blisters on me fingers!

A miniature, very good electronic kit. Excellent response on all pads. The only negative is the limited number of kits (15). However, it outputs midi, so you can use a computer with a drum app. Typical Roland quality, excellent.
