This is a piece of hi-fi history. It was manufactured (in west London) almost 50 years ago. In its heyday, Leak was a name to be reckoned with among audiophiles but too expensive for me.Now, on ebay, this amplifier came up for sale at at under £150. It works. It sounds very good. I bought it to match a Leak Trough Line FM tuner also bought recently on ebay (same vintage) and I'm playing them into a pair of 1990s Rogers LS1 speakers. The sound on live Radio 3 broadcasts is almost certainly the best quality I have heard - transparent, detailed, arresting. I'm amazed at how good this is, and after all these years too!

I own 2x stereo 70, 2x delta 30, 2x delta 70. To which I service, and repair if needed. The stereo 70 is amazing, it has a very revealing sound quality, it’s balance of bass and treble is superb, I currently use this amplifier with the mission 762i ( a forward sounding amplifier) These/this amplifier shames other amplifiers, these leak amplifiers will put a smile on your face, can an amplifier that’s near 50 years old sound this good! Ohh yes, and it does!! Buy a good one, or a serviced one! Bad points: input connection points are to restricted. Speaker inputs: are in most cases not use able, and will need updating.

Best amp I've had since the late 70's - Why did I ever trade it in for an amp made in the far east.
