At first appearance, Kimball is a geeky nerd. Only when you look deeper, you find out that he is a Grateful Dead fan, and knows what he is talking about. I think I would like to know him better. His approach to cooking instructs with being condescending. and gives you genuine, believable reasons for why something needs to be done in a certain way. Combine this book with his Cooks Bible and you are set to dazzle your friends and family with seriously good meals.
