    Fascinating and riveting story from the woman who made us all laugh by pretending to be Nicola Sturgeon in newsreels during the pandemic worst period. This story, however, is in no way funny and sometimes I have to grit my teeth to read on but I always do. It s written in a very unique style and if I close my eyes I can Imagine Janey Godley telling me everything she has been through in her life. I would buy this over and over for gifts

    A triumph of storytelling

    This is a real page turner of a book, you can almost hear the voices speaking in the homely Glaswegian dialect. Story is told with passion and nostalgia, one of the best books I have ever read. A story of resilience and Love.
