Very confused? I purchased a textured root barrier as listed, I was then sent a different product with no texture? I contacted them with no response? It will still hopefully get the job done but is misleading.

Apologies for not replying about your query. The message was received during the holiday period and the office staff were away and did not attend to your message promptly. The root barrier you ordered is 2mm root barrier, the manufacturer used to have one side textured and the other side smooth. They have changed the spec and had the both sides made smooth, hence we have rolled over to the new product, our apologies for not clarifying this promptly online.
