I bought a Leatherman tool because I had one several years ago and loved it. There as so many different models that it is hard to find the exact correct one to fit the tool you have. I lucked out and bought this one that fit my took well. It is an original replacement part and should last you a lifetime.

The good thing about a box sheath is the for you use it the softer it gets. Even a well worn one still has sort of a box shape and therefore it’s still easy to get your knife out quickly. I prefer the worn look and feel of broken in leather.

I already had one of these but it was an awesome fit for my Taurus PT709 Slim Mag (7 rd) so I ordered a new one for the Rebar. Actually it has to be used or stretched a smidgen to fit the mag so the new one is a better fit for the tool.

I have three Leatherman multi tools; an original unnamed, a Fuse and a Wave. I bought them in the order listed and all are still in great condition, although I did snap a tiny corner off the screwdriver of the Fuse. I bought the Wave as a replacement and ground the broken screwdriver tip to "repair" it at a later date. In the meantime, I was carrying the Wave in the Fuse case because I always hated the original case as it had a flexible nylon webbing on one side, it didn't fit to my liking and it was difficult to get my belt through it. The case for the Fuse is just slightly smaller, so it fits snug on the Wave. I'm just wondering why it took me four years to finally get around to buying this case. It's a little stiff at first and requires a little more work to get the Wave to fit in it, but within a few weeks it should loosen up and get easier to work with.Read full review

Leatherman suggests the 4.25" for the wave I believe but it fits snug in this 4" case without break in. I soak it in hot water with the wave in it to open it up a bit and drying it in the oven on low it will shrink and really hug the tool. I've used the sewn style and the belt loop doesn't last long and I've made my own after this design but for this price you can't beat the quality or the fit of the KICK size case
