Overpriced poorly designed Aussie junk
I replaced my standard cooling system 6 years ago and have just purchased my 3rd EMP115 . The first died a few months after the warrantee expired but I thought it must be the controller that was malfunctioning so I bought a new one of them first. The controllers had been updated but they still made them without mounting points so you need to glue them into place somewhere but after unglueing they are easy to replace but expensive. Replacement of the controller revealed that the pump itself had failed. Another $150 and a new pump was fitted and despite being overseas for much of the last 2 years the new pump began failing from possibly lack of use so thhen I had to tap it with a hammer to keep it going or get it going to stop the engine overheating. Its been a nightmare. I also had to buy an auxillary pump at $150 to get the heater and demister to work as these pumps are not good enough to push water up into the heater element. The second controller began to fail after a few months and would not activate the fan so also had to be replaced. If this is the worlds best replacement cooling system the standards are pretty low. Ive spent almost $1000 on this poor quality system and have been stranded several times by product failure and although Davies Craig staff have been very helpful I would avoid this poorly designed seemingly economical option as this is testemony to the adage , whats cheap is dear. This rubbish can kill your motor and I do suspect that they are made in China or PRC and put in an Australian box. Buy real Chinese. Better value.

Good performance, good value
I replaced the old waterpump on my vehicle with the same brand and size, it had performed flawlessly for seven years. The vehicle is used regularly both short and long distance runs, the pump and fan control combination provides excellent cooling properties in my tropical environment.
