Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in iPods & MP3 Players
Let's face it...we are not all clones and look for different features when it comes to an MP3 player. I wanted a small, portable player for the gym. The FM Radio feature is what I have been hoping for for a very long time! I don't need apps. I don't need to surf the web. I need to play my tunes. Genius is a great way to create a mix for the gym. The fitness tracker is incredible. And finally I can tune in to the TVs in the gym. Love it! This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Perfect device for my needs.
The 5th generation of the ipod nano from Apple is the best. A few uses besides music are the video camera, live pause radio, podcasts, alarms, calendars, external speaker if you forget your earphones, and of course the reason I LOVE this product is for Audiobooks. So easy to use and compatible with audible. com and itunes where you can store audiobooks plus purchase books and music. I bought this one for my husband as I've had one for over a year and as an avid "reader" go nowhere without it. Beware the clones as you can't use them on itunes. In my opinion, Apple made a mistake with their 6th generation unless you only want to download music. However, after researching the 6th gen. I had to finally resort to a phone call to Apple. Thank goodness the tech. person actually told me no to audiobooks, only music. Apple.com no longer sells the older versions of nano so you might have trouble finding one except on ebay. The 4th gen. is like the 5th except for video camera. I was very lucky to find this ipod at a very good price. The seller was great about answering my questions about this particular ipod. I bought this one for my husband. My nano was a Christmas present from him in 2009. I've used it almost every day since. I am disabled and the ipod nano 5th gen. has brought books back into my life. Depending on your personal needs, if you are looking to buy an mp3 player, consider the Apple ipod nano 5th generation.Read full review
So thrilled that this works well and the sound is fantastic. The on-off switch is a bit sticky, but certainly manageable. Very happy.

The best of the IPOD's. Very compact and easy to view and select artists, playlists, and controls. The photo viewing is a nice feature as well.

I am new to this product, so still learning all its features, but I cannot understand one bit why it was discontinued.... the size is perfect, and so slim/elegant; it takes and displays really nice videos, and sound quality is pretty darn good for such a small device, it takes photos, has a radio, pedometer, on and on. I suppose Apple did not want this stealing sales away from the iPod Touch? There are no video or camera features on the latest gen. of the nano, and for me, it's too small to 'deal with'. I find the battery life to be pretty good considering I bought a used one, and took video with it intermittently all day long on a recent mini vacation. Everyone I show this too is really impressed as well... and I am not a cell phone user, (so this is my first 'little device') but they are and still huddle around it when I've pulled it out to show. :)Read full review
