Chinese knockoff?
Many companies make this same style of rafter hook, however this one seems to be a Chinese knockoff. Poor quality, and doesn’t lock into the indented positions. The opposing slots are not in-line so the pin doesn’t sit into the grove and correctly lock the hook into the different positions. I would avoid this brand and buy a different one. Many other options at the same price that actually work as advertised.Many companies make this same style of rafter hook, however this one seems to be a Chinese knockoff. Happy to find this accessory!
Like other reviews I have read this is good hardware and I’m certain it will be durable. The typical photo doesn’t do it justice IMO. Some good installation instructions would be helpful, there aren’t any with mine. I’m not sure where exactly to place it for best results but will look for good info online. I would buy more if these for sure!
