    Robot wars book - covers latest series

    This is the perfect book for robot wars enthusiasts, with a good general introduction to robotics and many photos of the different popular robot designs seen in the most recent series ( spinning arm, spinning drum etc) in all stages of assembly, from chassis up. There is also an assessment of weapon style and effectiveness and much more. I am sure this will be a hit with my boys and husband who are keen robot wars fans.

    I'm completely new to the world of robotics and this gives me an interesting overview of robot wars but also an absolute beginners project section for building basic bots with component and tools required list and full instructions with pictures very happy as a foundation starting point

    Make a nice gift for a fan of the Robot Wars series

    If you were a fan of the Robot Wars series you will enjoy reading this book as lot of information both about both the "house" and competitors robots. If not, you will perhaps be a little disappointed, as book seems to be more intended for those who are looking for inspiration and ideas rather than being a step by step guide.

    A misleading title

    This book is naff. All it does is give you some basic layouts for bodywork and VERY basic info on the wiring and controls. Even for a Haynes manual it's shite. My opinion... Google the info you need and save your money
