    A funny and facinating read.

This was one of the most surprising page turners I've ever read. I had no idea our guts where so fascinating. This book is truly a great read. My friends lent me their copy and recommended I read it which I did but it was so good I had to get my own so I can read it again and this time highlight the bits I really want to remember. Thank you to Giulia Enders for doing all that research and putting it into a format that us lay persons can understand and even making it funny in the process.

  • Embarrassing subject turned into a fascinating one

I've suffered from IBS and food intolerance from the age of 12 so my gut has been a source of embarrassment, anguish, pain and desperation for a very long time. So over the years, in trying to find the cause of my IBS I have learnt a lot about the gut. This book not only tells you more than you ever thought you could want to know, it presents the basic facts in an interesting and pleasantly humorous way. It isn't boringly scientific and it has been a source of absolute fascination and new found knowledge. Five stars to Giulia Enders

  • The title is perfect - it does what it says on the can (cover)

I have already rated this book on my feedback. I cannot recommend the book highly enough. Everybody should read this book unless you have the most efficient digestive system. The reason I bought this book (again!) is because I lent my previous copy to a friend and never got it back. This one won't be going anywhere.

  • Opened my eyes

This book has made me a lot more aware of what my body does for me and what I can do for my body. I've made a complete turn around with how I was feeding myself (lazily). I feel so much better because of the steps I've taken after reading this book.
