      Safe and Effective seems to sum it up quite well.

      The product is simple to use, with audio instructions that play while you are using the cleaning disc. it is so simple even a "seasooned citizen" can use it! It seems to have effectively cleaned up all the electronic CD players and fideo games I used it with.

      Can't tell if the disc is working right

      I had one of these CD cleaners from years ago and thought it worked well, but the brushes were worn off so I ordered a new one. I found the instructions on the new one to be confusing because as soon as I choose Track 3 as it instructs, the CD quits playing. I'm not sure it the cleaning is happening when the instructions are being given or if it supposed to take place during Track 3. My player is still skipping on Disc 3 of a 5 disc changer about midway through the disc, but the amount of skipping has been reduced. So perhaps it is working. The instructions say not to let the disc play through Track 2 as that could be damaging to the lens. Then why is Track 2 there and why doesn't Track 3 actually do anything? Just a little frustrated about the best way to get the best results. I gave it 3 ...

      CD Cleaner Review

      I have Only used once and cannot tell you if it works well or not however when the prompt says when to move to channel from channel one to channel three there is no confirmation or prompt saying anything ... I keep it on channel three many times and Restarted the cleaning procedure and Nothing , it's a No Brainer how to use so it either is Malfunctioning or it somemore Junk made in China , I won't be ordering another same one thanks

      My experience with Maxell- a good, old name- couldn't have been much worse.

      This cleaner does not work. Tried it several times and each time it stops part way into the process. I e-mailed Maxell (That is the correct spelling for this company) about the problem and got a response thanking me for my comments. Tried calling and got tired of waiting forever for someone to actually answer. Am now using an Allsop cleaner which works perfectly.

      Easy to use and works to solve problems caused by dirty lens.

      I had never cleaned the lenses on my cd/dvd players. The cd player in my 350Z was acting up (skipping) so I decided I needed to try a cleaner. Purchased the Maxell product and tried it in my car player and it solved the problem. Used it in all my other players and it seemed to improve the sound in at least one of them. I am pleased with the product and will continue to use it occasionally to clean my players. It is very easy to use, audio directions are recorded on the disc, even has a track of classical music.
