Rabbit farming was an important industry in post-medieval times, and has left many traces in the modern landscape, the real significance of which has not always been recognised - leading to much confusion among archaeologists. The visible traces are 'pillow mounds' and other structures such as boundary banks and walls, vermin traps and tip traps, and warren lodges. These structures were often erected in close proximity to earlier archaeological sites such as hill forts or barrows, and have often been interpreted as features of prehistoric or Roman date. In addition earlier earthworks were often altered and adapted by warreners to serve as rabbit accommodation. Easy Read, this archery book will help you shoot better.
Book was received in good useable condition. It's a how-to guide to archery, written by a famous archer to help anyone starting out or trying to improve their shooting. So, it's a bit nerdy in some placed. The book is quite old, my copy has a 2011 impression date. This is a replacement copy as my original was gifted to a friend. The age of the book means that all of the examples refer to archery equipment available around 2006, so hardware is outdated but principles of how to shoot a bow are still applicable as are the bow tuning methods. The book fits my needs as some of the equipment I use is from the same period, so hardware advice works well. There is a nice explanation of how to draw a bow using the right muscles and once you get this it's clear that you do not have to be very strong ... Book was received in good useable condition. Book gives good start up points for buying a Bow etc, and goes on to give good in depth details for more experienced Archers. I read it while doing Archery courses to see what is missed out by some trainers, what is most important about set up, true centre of the Bow.
