Handy compact & easy to use. Wouldn’t read a Kawasaki 650 battery , but read a Yamaha 900 & Jeep Grand Cherokee giving good results in battery condition, cranking amps & charge rate. Excellent tool regardless of price, which is incredibly cheap. Postage was delayed because of floods, but good communication from seller.

I tested a 12 month old car battery as good, the rated CCA was 80%, Its about right. I tested a 5 year old car battery that had been removed from service as bad and it shows CCA at 50%, also seems reasonable. I also tested a good 9 A/H gel cell as all good with 110A CCA, even though it will never crank a car! So it does what it says on the box and is better than just a voltage only test.

The Launch scan tool itself shows all the codes but some I still needed to google to get the fault description on some.
P2463 - “Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction” is a common code that should have a decription.
Launch is a well known brand so I will hit up the manufacturer to an update to their firmware.
This is NOT a seller problem, this is a manufacturer issue.
