    Phenomenal

    This is a fantastic album. As I'm sure the other 'The Bachelor' reviews will state, the creativity and polished feel of this work is rarely surpassed. This album strays into new territory by confronting rare instruments, rhythms and even use of vocals to create something distinctively Patrick Wolf and, yet, wholly different from his previous creations. The range of energies and emotions he captures is outstanding and 'The Bachelor' truly does contain some of my favourite Patrick Wolf lyrics of all time. In addition to all of this, the limited edition is simply beautiful. The design of the book (which contained the sleeved disc at the back) including photography and lyrics makes the boxed and signed version a really special item.
