In US we don't use mm's often, so I give measurements in 2-3 places of description in inches & mm's to help customers know size before purchasing. If customer messages me and gives me their stud size first, can verify if jackets appropriate. Also, can obtain photo of jackets in chosen metal selection next to a measuring tape, from manufacturer.
