      Excellent music in a biopic

      Great biographical story based on the Great Paganini. The actor playing the famous violinist is a child prodigy named David Garrett a German muso who trained at Juilliard and the Royal Music Academy in London. The violin musical pieces are brilliant all written by the real Paganini. David Garrett also is musical director on the film score.

      David Garrett as Niccolo Paganini

      I was rather disappointed with this movie, story line not very interesting, however I learn a bit about the life of Niccolò Paganini and the music in the movie is great. Love David Garrett as a violinist and he is one of the best but not as an actor. I guess it would be difficult to find another musician more suitable for this role. I would have really enjoyed the movie if the story concentrated more on Paganini's great talent and his music not his womanizing.

      Great movie for musicians and musicologists but NO SUBTITLES available

      Very interesting movie with some spectacular music and playing . David Garrett is perfect for this role with his musical talent and looks to suit playing Paganini. only negative is NO SUBTITLES which made it difficult for my elderly mother. apart from that , a great movie
