Defrost control board came in a small cube box. Item was inside an anti-static envelope. There were no other cushioning material in the box so, there were a lot of small puncture marks on that envelope. It doesn't appear to be damaged in any way. It just looked like it moved around a lot inside the box. I bought this as a spare for my 30 year old Kitchen-Aid fridge so I can't say if it works or not. I'm guessing it's OK. I'm just happy that this part is still available. Thanks eBay.

I looked up the repair procedure online. It was an easy repair to my 2 year old refrigerator for cheap money. I didn't have to buy a new fridge. What's not to like?

My Whirlpool was not defrosting properly. After replacing all the other (less expensive) defroster control parts still NG. Purchased this control board. Upon first install, The refrigerator would not come on. Took it back apart, thinking maybe I missed something. checked the connections, nothing seemed amiss. Reinstalled, still nothing. lightly tapped the cover, the fridge started up. I would say it has not cured my problem. Defective? dont know. Past the 30 day return.
