They are moderately adjustable and fit my 2013 Forester pretty well. There is a bit of wind noise as expected from any roof rack system, plus I'd be amazed if these held under 100kg, there is no way they would hold 280kg. Still, all in all, these are good value for money and and certainly do the job.
