About this product
Product Information
Charley Harper and Edie McKee met on the first day of school at the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1940. They studied together, fell in love, survived World War II, married, and embarked on successful careers in art. Today, Charley's work is iconic, kwn around the world particularly for his images of birds and other wildlife created with simple but accurate geometric forms. Edie's fine art photographs, paintings, prints, designs, and illustrations have earned her lasting respect. Harper Ever After presents paintings and prints from both artists, from their early art school days until 1960, when Charley created Cardinal, w one of his best-kwn images. The artists' command of a wide range of styles from realism to abstraction to cubism is t only impressive, it informs the path each took to arrive at their individual techniques. The subjects they chose to depict are just as diverse. Charley's World War II scenes, portraits, and cartoons created while serving in Europe as a private first class are especially poignant.

Fantastic seller! My item took longer than normal to arrive but that's due to them sending me the wrong dvd. Not to worry though, I contacted them and they arranged for the correct dvd to be sent out. My item has now arrived and the dvd was in excellent condition (brand new as described) and it was very well packaged. I would also like to say that the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this seller, thank you so much! The issue with the wrong dvd was quickly rectified .

Book arrived safely packaged in perfect order. Item as described, new. Thank you Rarewaves Outlet. Fascinating book, great addition to my collection. Great price. Would recommended this seller. No communication needed with seller, so don't know what to rate with regards to communication (please dont take lack of feedback on this matter as a negative). Thanks again.

This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. It arrived late, due to Royal Mail's Festive rush, but was dispatched by the seller really quickly. When I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied really quickly with a helpful solution. Such good customer service, so strongly recommend. Really happy with my purchase.
