    Superior materials quality

    The reason I chose this fuel filter over its competitors is that it is made of stainless steel and, being exposed to road/weather conditions because of its location on the underside of the car, its physical condition is at risk. The original FG-1060 was in excellent physical condition after 12 years and 80,000 miles when I removed it, and I'm trusting this new one will do as well. No competing filter claimed to be made of stainless steel, most likely because it wasn't.
